Workshop for demo-site stackeholders
Oct, 2023
During October of 2023, the first set of project workshops to establish local demo-site stakeholders’ connection and growth took place in Gebze (TR), Athens (GR), and Taranto (IT).
Great job done by TÜBİTAK, Yurt Mühendislik, EYDAP, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in organizing the events and collecting interests of the local stakeholders, who showed warm willingness to be part of this important contribution to the EU Mission "Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030".
The aim of this first workshops was to:
- offer stakeholders a comprehensive overview of the project and its demonstration sites.
- establish the social empowerment and shared accountability among stakeholders regarding the remediation needs, governance, and evolution of the demo-sites.
- facilitate the involvement of stakeholders in roundtable discussions.
- address project-related inquiries from stakeholders and gather their input; recognize the role of stakeholders in the project.
