RHE-MEDiation showcased with EYDAP, HCMR

On March 6, 2024, RHE-MEDiation was showcased in a meeting involving the Greek Ministry of Environment & Energy, along with our partners EYDAP and Hellenic Center for Marine Research

Key highlights from this continued dialogue, stemming from the 1st Stakeholders Workshop on October 4, 2023, were focused on:

• The project’s exploitation plan and current status.
• Integration of new European directives into Greek legislation, such as the amendment of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive.
• Showcasing the role of various stakeholders in ensuring project success.
• The quaternary treatment photobioreactors that will be installed at the Thriassio Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Combatting Forever Chemicals: Advances in safeguarding the Gulf of Elefsina.

The meeting, attended by seventeen water officials, signified unanimous interest from the Ministry in our innovative approaches and future endeavors.
